Gabby whom we had met in Dong Ha had recommended that we go to Banh Mi Phap, a French boulangerie in Hue. On one of my stops at Banh Mi Phap, I reconnected with Yuan and Clemente, a French couple I had met at my first breakfast in Hanoi at our B and B Hanoi Hotel. He is Basque and she is from a nearby area in France. They were on their way to Australia and New Zealand to work–he most likely doing farm labor in Australia and she as a physiotherapist with a secure job in New Zealand. Yuan did not have legal standing to work in New Zealand so they would see each other as much as they could.
